CASA ANDALUSÍ
The Andalusí House, located in the heart of the Jewish Quarter of Córdoba, next to the Synagogue, opened its doors in 1997 after a careful restoration that has recovered the wise legacy of past generations loaded with symbolisms and meanings.
Its generic name is Cordoba XII Century, this House-Museum is a beautiful place full of charm that transports to times of the Caliphate, where you can find sensations and the atmosphere of that time. The Andalusian flavor of the house is mixed with the oriental airs, with the music that fills its corners, the aromas and the coloring of the flowers and their decoration.
Inside, a cozy and fresh courtyard welcomes the visitor with the pleasant rumor of the water of its fountain and the greenery of its plants. It also houses the Paper Museum, an interesting journey through the manufacturing process of this material in Caliphate Cordoba. Underneath the current house there are characteristic elements of the dwellings of the Jewish quarter, galleries that pass under the buildings until they pass through the walls of the city.
